Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (Manufacturing)

Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations within a manufacturing setting. This position partners with leadership and employees across departments to ensure compliance, improve engagement, and support workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with company goals
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
- Payroll administration and processing
- Manage HR records, reporting, and documentation accurately and confidentially
- Administer benefits and compensation programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Maintain personnel records and help implement HR policies and best practices
- Partner with operations leadership to support workforce planning and retention efforts
- Workers’ compensation and company 401k program administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
