Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations within a manufacturing setting. This position partners with leadership and employees across departments to ensure compliance, improve engagement, and support workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with company goals
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
  • Payroll administration and processing
  • Manage HR records, reporting, and documentation accurately and confidentially
  • Administer benefits and compensation programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintain personnel records and help implement HR policies and best practices
  • Partner with operations leadership to support workforce planning and retention efforts
  • Workers’ compensation and company 401k program administration
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
