On Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m.-7:45 p.m., everyone is invited to the Lake County Outdoor Y, 4540 River Road in Perry, for a free Splash Day open house to experience how the Y helps children, families and adults reach their potential and encourage healthy living. Everyone is welcome to try out the tennis courts, hike through the woods and along the Grand River, and take a swim or preview the rental pavilions.
Splash Day grants the community free access to activities usually requiring membership or participation fees.
The outdoor Y provides numerous activities for children and adults to enjoy throughout the summer including its splash park and pool area, in-line skate rink, climbing, and picnic pavilions. It also offers summer nature programs and youth sports that encourage children to learn, grow and thrive. Some of these program include swim lessons, fishing adventure, youth camps, soccer, lacrosse, adn mini golf. A complete program brochure is available online at: www.lakecountyymca.org

NOTE: Nonmembers are always welcome to participate in Lake County Y programs at the program participant rate. Day guest passes are also available for the Outdoor Y pool area.

In addition, the Outdoor Y has several pavilions available for rent(which does not require Y membership). There are both indoor and outdoor pavilions that serve parties from 40 guests to 200 guests. The three indoor rooms are available to rent year long. Pavilion rental grants access to the Outdoor Y grounds and hiking trails but guest passes are required for pool access.
The Outdoor Y's rental facilities are ideal for family, group, organization, and business functions including baby and wedding showers, graduation parties, family reunions, birthday parties, company picnics, church outings/retreats and more.
