Women’s Weekend Get-Away with Friends and Family
Rest, Relax, Renew at YMCA Camp Fitch
Lake County YMCA is excited to offer women the opportunity to participate in the 17th annual Women’s Weekend Get-Away from November 21-23, 2014 at YMCA Camp Fitch in North Springfield, PA on the shores of Lake Erie. During the weekend, women can participate in the activities that they choose like walks outdoors or being pampered during a massage to lectures and small group discussions and the chance to just quietly relax and reflect.
“It’s flexible which is what makes it special for each woman that goes on the Weekend Get-Away. They can choose to go horseback riding, to stay in and read a book, or get a massage. It’s fund to catch up with old friends and laugh with new ones in the lodges,” said Jessica Martin, executive director for the Lake County YMCA Outdoor Family Center.
Food and lodging in heated cabins with amenities as well as planned activities such as crafts, art projects, boating, zip line, the hot tub spa, massages, pedicures, manicures, workshops, campfire fun, horseback trail riding, and more.
The special “Chocolate Haven” activity will occur on Friday night where each person brings something to dip and share in a chocolate like Oreos, candy, fruit, pretzels, or cake bites. NOTE: you must bring something to dip if you plan to participate.
Registration and payment are due by October 25, 2014.
Everyone is invited to attend at a rate of $110 Y member/$120 non-member.
Additional $10 late fee if paid after October 25.
Spa service fees are additional and vary pending spa treatment and creative activities selected.
Camp Fitch is nestled on 450 acres on the shores of Lake Erie in North Springfield, PA. The Weekend Get-Away will be located in a cozy lodge (with dorm-like sleeping rooms) on the upper flat of camp with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. Camp Fitch is approximately one hour east of Painesville, OH.
