THE LAKE COUNTY ADAMHS BOARD SEEKS FULL-TIME PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board is seeking qualified candidates for a full time Project Coordinator.
About the Lake ADAMHS Board:
The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board is responsible for planning, funding, and evaluating services available to Lake County residents dealing with mental illness and/or substance-use disorders. Those services are delivered through a network of providers.
Oversees the submission, development, and review of multiple grant programs. Assists in identifying problems or deficiencies in the countywide system of care and coordinating solutions directed by the Director of Quality and Clinical Operations involving the ADAMHS Board, contract agencies, and state departments. Because state and federal funds available to the county are passed through the ADAMHS Board, this position will assist in ensuring that agency leaders provide a service delivery system which is in full compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. This is achieved through superior verbal and written communication.
Principle activities include but are not limited to: Track all current grant programs, identify timelines for report submission, gather data from providers, submit reports, including fiscal and clinical information to internal team for review and final submission • Create and maintain federal/state/local grants calendar • Identify grant opportunities; share with provider network and provide support as needed. • Identify gaps in current continuum of care and new program opportunities; collaborate with providers to develop and implement new programs, report progress to internal team • Assist in the successful integration of new programs, policies, and procedures • Develop an understanding of various program criteria and priorities applicable to each funder • Compile program outlines, materials, and data to present to management and providers to show outcomes • Assist with the development, deployment and assessment of provider and consumer surveys • Other duties as assigned that support the operations of the Lake County ADAMHS Board • *Note: if conditions warrant, some work may need to be done remotely.
Bachelor’s degree required • Superior written communication and editing skills • Good presentation and interpersonal skills • Must be organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills • Ability to work as a member of a team and independently and effectively across departments, handling multiple projects, and under pressure of deadlines for project reporting requirements • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Database Applications.
